Item Build

If you have designated an item in the 'Item Master' as a kit or manufactured product and have defined the various components(other items) that will make up that kit then you can use this screen to build those kits. The screen will add the new built products(kits) to stock and reduce the stock of the components by creating an item adjustment.

Item Number

The item number for the package being built.

Description

The description of the package being built.

Store

The store the kits are built in.

Change kits built?

Quasar displays the number of kits normally built by the component list. If the number of actual kits built by the list differs you can change it.

How Many Groups:

This normally defaults to one. You can change the quantity of kit grouping built.

Components Table

• Item

  The item number of the component.

• Description

  The description of the component.

• Size

  The item size of the component used.

• Quantity

  By default displays the quantity of the component used in a normal build. This can change due to accidents or other circumstances. If need be, change the quantity used here.
