Price Zone Master | DocumentationTable of Contents |
The price zone master is used to define the various price zones for your company. Each store must belong to a single price zone. All regular prices in Quasar are defined by price zone.
The name given to the price zone.
The number assigned to the price zone.
This section is used to set your rounding rules for the price zone. Rounding rules are used to calculate desired price points. Areas in Quasar that utilize the rounding rules include the item master screen and the price batch screen. The item master utilizes the rounding rules by default when you enter a margin for a price. In the price batch there is a "Round" button. When you click on the "Round" button all the new prices are re-calculated using the rounding rules.
Price rounding rules are entered in the table. There are two columns "Ends In" and "Add On". The ends in strings for a price of 7.47 would be "7", or "47". So if you said "Ends In 7" and "add on .02" then the selling price would round up to 7.49. For a price of 7.47 if you said "Ends in 47" and "add on (0.17)" then the selling price would round down to 7.30. You can round up or down and you can specify the rounding strings to be as long as required to meet your rounding requirements.
Toggle on or off. Toggle off to set the price zone to inactive. Toggle on to re-set the price zone to active.
