Table of Contents



The job master is a tool employees can use to view job requirements, record job progress, track labour hours and create work orders for hours and items used in the job.

Number

The job number.

Task

The task the job is connected to.

Employee

The employee the job is assigned to.

Customer

The customer that work orders will be billed to.

Assignment#

The task's assignment number.

Store

The store linked to the job.

Customer Unit

The customer unit that the job is linked to.

Date In

The date the job was started

Time In

The time the job was started

Date Out

The date the job was completed

Time Out

The time the job was completed

Round To

Set the rounding parameters for calculated hours worked.

Status

Set to 'Held' if job is in progress. Set to 'Complete' when the job is completed.

Hours worked

The actual hours worked

Allowance hours

Allowance hours such as travel time.

Regular hours

Actual regular hours worked

Overtime hours

Actual overtime hours worked.

Stat (worked) hours

Actual statutory hours worked.

Regular Billing

Amount to bill the customer based on employee's regular billing item

Overtime Billing

Amount to bill the customer based on employee's overtime billing item

Holiday Billing

Amount to bill the customer based on employee's holiday billing item

Job Description

The description of the job. If the job was assigned as part of a task then this job description is imported from the task

Describe Solution

Detailed explanation of how the job was completed

Work-in-Progress

Click to enter items used as part of the job that need to be billed to the customer.


Bill Hours

Click to add the regular hours, overtime hours and holiday hours to a work order.

Copy Solution to Work Order

Click to include the solution in the comments area of the work order.

Action Icons



- Select the "Save" icon to save the changes to the time record.

- Select the "Undo" icon to remove any unsaved changes and display the original time record.

- Select the "OK" icon to file the record.

- Select the "Cancel" icon to cancel the changes to the record.

Inactive?

Toggle on or off. Toggle off to set the job record to inactive. Toggle on to re-set the job record to active.
